Saffron-Infused Martini
Ingredients
For the Saffron-Infused Vodka:
- 4 oz premium vodka
- 6–8 strands of MĪZĀN Premium Saffron
For the Martini:
- 2 oz saffron-infused vodka
- 1 oz dry vermouth
- Lemon twist or a single saffron strand for garnish
Instructions
1. Prepare the Saffron-Infused Vodka:
In a glass jar, combine the vodka and Mīzān saffron strands. Let it infuse for 24 hours at room temperature, allowing the vibrant golden color and delicate floral notes to develop fully. Once infused, strain the vodka to remove the saffron strands.
2. Chill Everything:
Store the saffron-infused vodka and dry vermouth in the freezer for at least 1 hour before serving to achieve an ultra-cold martini without diluting the flavors with ice.
3. Mix the Martini:
In a chilled mixing glass, combine the saffron-infused vodka and dry vermouth. Stir gently for 10–15 seconds to blend the flavors.
4. Serve:
Strain the martini into a pre-chilled coupe or martini glass. Garnish with a lemon twist or a single saffron strand for a luxurious touch.
