Saffron Latte

Serves: 1

Ingredients

  • ¾ cup milk (or milk alternative of your choice)
  • 5 saffron threads, crushed
  • 1 double shot espresso
  • honey or sweetener of choice

Steps

  • 1. In a saucepan, add your saffron threads directly into the milk. Heat for approximately 3-4 minutes, just before a roiling boil.
  • 2. Turn the heat off and whisk the milk until it becomes foam. Sweeten with your sweetener of choice. 
  • 3. Pour a double espresso into a cup
  • 4. Add the saffron-infused, foamy milk to your cup and enjoy.
